Greetings farm friends! This marks the second week of our spring CSA, and with much-needed rain and more seasonable temperatures, crops are growing nicely. This week, our spring CSA members will receive Napa cabbage, broccoli shoots, radishes, salad mix, and green garlic. Green garlic can be used just like green onions, but with a mild garlicky flavor. Napa cabbage is one of our favorite crops to grow; it can be finicky with warm spring temperature fluctuations, but its so versatile and tasty that it’s worth a little fuss!
We also updated our online store with eggs, flowers, and more produce. To make our farm and delivery system more sustainable, we have implemented a $2 delivery fee per order (CSA customers can still add on to their order for free). We are farmers, not Internet wizards, so we are learning about this as we go! We appreciate your support!
